The Introduction of ClearThink
ClearThink is identified as a vicious adware which attacks any kind of web browsers like Firefox, Chrome and IE. Normally, it comes with free applications which can be downloaded from the Internet easily.
Once downloaded, ClearThink will change your current homepage and default search engines. It looks like a safe program, but actually it is developed by cyber criminals to promote some commercial websites. If you ignore ClearThink, you will get many sponsored links and commercial ads during your browsing activities. The purpose of ClearThink is to boost web traffic and get profit from it. What is more, the virus records your search queries, browsing habits and so forth for marketing purpose.
To prevent the virus, you should follow the installation steps carefully when installing free software, such as video players, PDF creator, and download managers. Please don’t forget to uncheck the additional options when installing free programs. You had better not open emails from strangers, because it can hide in them. In a word, ClearThink is very malicious which should be removed from PC.

Step by Step by Remove ClearThink
Step 1: navigate to Control Panel>click Uninstall a program>remove ClearThink from the list
Step 2: right-click on Taskbar and click Start Task Manager>stop all processes related to ClearThink
Step 3: remove ClearThink from Google Chrome. Steps: click Menu icon>click Tools>Extensions>find ClearThink and remove it
Step 4: remove ClearThink from Internet Explorer. Steps: Click Tools>Manager Add-ons>delete all suspicious add-ons
Step 5: remove ClearThink from Mozilla Firefox. Steps: Go to Tools>click Add-ons>click Plugins to remove all dangerous plugins and click Extensions to remove all risky extensions
Step 6: Disable ClearThink’s startup items. To do this, you should click Start Menu>input “msconfig” in the search box>hit Enter. Then, the system configuration utility will be opened. Now go to Start up tab and disable all items belong to ClearThink.
Note: you should know that any mistake changes happen in the registry will cause other serious system problems. So before you make some changes, you should back up your registry first!
