Remove Yawtix Pop-up Virus from IE/Firefox/Chrome Completely

Description of Yawtix

Created by cyber criminals, Yawtix is able to attack many famous browsers like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox and increase traffic to make profit. Mostly, Yawtix is bundled with lots of free programs such as some video players. Hence, once you download one of those programs which contain Yawtix, you will be attacked by this virus definitely. Once it is executed on your system, you won’t be able to get rid of it easily.
In reality, Yawtix has been classified as a hazardous adware which is used to promote unwanted programs by popping up tons of ads on victims’ screen. Once you are interested in those pop-up ads and click on them to download or buy what they promote, you will fall into Yawtix’s trap without doubt. In fact, Yawtix is an unwanted program so it won’t provide any good thing for you. On the contrary, it just brings you a lot of troubles. For example, it may redirect your browser and corrupt some of your system files. Besides, Yawtix also slows down browser’s speed. Steps to remove Yawtix virus:

1.Stop all vicious processes of Yawtix from Task Manager
To do this, you can hit Ctrl+Shift+Esc at the same time to open the Task Manager. But you should know that the virus’s name may vary from one to other, so you should be careful.

2.Display all hidden files so as to remove Yawtix's files
To show all hidden files from PC, please follow these steps:
①Click Start Menu and click Control Panel

②Click Appearance and Personalization and click Folder Options

③Go to View tab, tick Show hidden files and folders and deselect Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)

④Click OK
3.Remove all malicious files and keys from Registry Editor
To do this, you can click on Start Menu and click Run. When a dialogue pops up, you should type "regedit" in the box and click OK.

Now, please remove the following keys from the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\run\
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Temp
Note: you should know that any mistake changes happen in the registry will cause other serious system problems. So before you make some changes, you should back up your registry first!
